KIBBUTZ REVIVIM (23rd Feb, 2008)

Revivim (36 km south of Beer Sheva) is a small kibbutz (An Israeli collective community) established (by 21 young men) in 1943 in the Negev desert. Today it’s famous for its olive groves (300 acres), agriculture (7000 acres of farming area) and a poultry farm that provides 12 million eggs a year. About 800 people live in Revivim today, 350 of them kibbutz members and 220 children.
