One can walk through the walls of Old city and it is divided into two: one route begins at Jaffa Gate and continues north towards the Lions Gate; the other also begins at Jaffa Gate but continues south towards Zion Gate and the Dung Gate. A walk on top of the Old City`s magnificent walls enables you to see and get to know Jerusalem from above. The Old City, the views, the Jerusalem neighborhoods and the major sights in the city are all experienced from a different perspective. We took the second route.
