Bet Meir

Beit Meir is a religious Zionist Moshav (cooperative settlement) located in the Judean hills, 14 km west of Jerusalem. Situated adjacent to Masreq nature reserve, Bet Meir occupies a scenic location, which enjoys a panoramic view. This religious Moshav is famous for Yeshivat Ohr Yerushalayim, a yeshiva (A Jewish study centre for Torah) for students from the United States and other English-speaking countries who wish to spend a year or more of intensive study in Israel. There is also the kosher (Food in accordance with Jewish laws) Hamasrek winery located inside the Moshav.
